ABOUT LEGACY BUILDERS COACHING & CONSULTING

Coach Karen has many years of industry experience. She has led teams in childcare, banking, public communications, and higher education.

She has taught general education, business, and human resources courses in proprietary, traditional, and community college environments over the past 15 years.

As a single mother of three girls, Coach Karen pursued her education and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, in human resource development, from Notre Dame College. She earned a Master of Education Degree, in Adult Learning and Development, from Cleveland State University, and a Master of Business Administration, from University of Phoenix. Additionally, she has a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Coach Karen has served as President on non-profit boards and done additional volunteer work in several organizations including the Cleveland Chapter of SCORE, an organization that provides free mentoring and other resources to small business owners. As a part of her work with SCORE, she launched workshops for small business leaders and an online book club that she coined "Read to Lead".

She learned the hard way how much poor leadership could impact team building, trust, respect, cultural development, and profits. Her training, experiences, teaching, and research has allowed her to develop programs to assist small business owners in growing themselves, their teams and their profits.
